Guest imported_Thriller
Buicks.net has some good information...looks like 6021 convertibles. If it were me, I'd look to restore it...they are only original once. That being said, changing the wheels or something like that which can easily be reverted gives it a little more unique look while not detracting from value so long as you have the original stuff. The 425 is a strong engine with plenty of power...that car should already be a blast.Good luck with it. Any photos to share?
Pete Phillips
The 425 in the '63 Wildcat is quite rare, since it was only offered during the last 2-3 months of production, and then only as an option. I've learned a lot about these since the 425 is what my '63 Wildcat convertible has also. This is how mine looked, before I cleaned it up and identified it.Pete PhillipsBCA #7338
Guest Louie
I would try to bring back as close as possible to original, Like Pete stated, a 63 with a 425 is rare in it self. I have a 4 door hardtop with factory 4 speed with a 425 CI.
