richardmelini
The sixty-eight year old weather stripping on my Buick has melted and is stuck to the door and door jams of my 1939 Model 41. If anyone has any experienc in removing this type of residue I would surely appreciate your advice.
42crazy
Amazing timing, I just finished removing the weather stripping from my '39 model 61-A yesterday. I used a putty knife, and a sharpened screwdriver. I couldn't get anything off short of a lot of elbow grease. Paul

Guest John Chapman
Next time, try a can of 3M weather strip remover...Saves a lots of elbow grease.Available from better auto stores and interior trim jobbers.Just a thought.Cheers,JMC
