50jetback Posted February 20, 2007 Share Posted February 20, 2007 Have finished rebuilding my 1934 Series 40 engine and was about to fit a N.O.S. Cylinder Water Cover Jacket which is part number 1266732.For the 1934 Series 40 motor my parts book lists a Cylinder Water Jacket Cover BAFFLE, part number 1266733. This part is listed only for 1934 - 35 Series 40 motors.None of the motors I have worked on have had this baffle.Can anyone tell me what it looks like, dimensions and what material it is made from. It seems it may be critical to the cooling of the motor, possibly directing cooler water from the radiator direct to the rear cylinders.Any information appreciated, the right information may earn you a beer one day ( next time I visit the US )!!!!
