Guest F14CRAZY
Hmm...does the coolant temp gauge show that the engine's up to temperature? Your thermostat may be stuck open.Another possibility is that your heater core is plugged. Happened twice with my Explorer. I don't think they're easy to get out, so I would attach to the hoses for it and flush it out. The radiator and engine could probably use a flushing too though. Rawja
We certainly have the talent on hand here to solve your problem if it's not unique to Cadillacs, but there is a Cadillac-specific forum that might also be a usefull resource for you: www.cadillacforums.comI use it myself for my Caddy. Guest F14CRAZY
Because of the ack of airflow through the radiator, system temps will indeed be better. I'd look into either using diagnostic mode (I think Cadillacs of that era have it, at least some of them) or connecting a scantool to the system to see if its getting up to temperature
john266
$5 says its the heater core. If not that, if no air is blowing at all then its the blower motor. Or it may be as F14 said, it may be that the thermostat is stuck open, which is usually an easy fix if that is the case.
Guest F14CRAZY
Hmmm...is the blower motor working fine? Like you're getting a lot of air, just not warm air?Could this also possibly be a "blend door" issue?
pogonuts
thanks,The air is blowing but not hot (warm)Plus i dont think it is blowing Full force.
