Moparbob
Wanting to upgrade my charging system. Found 6 volt positive ground alternator at Quick Start Automotive Electric. Sounds almost too good to be true. Anybody have feedback on this, and if so, any tips? Thanks- Bob.
34 Dodge
MoparBob,I've been using a 6-volt, positive ground alternator in my 1934 Dodge for years. It's SO much better than the original generator, especially for stop and go traffic in the Los Angeles area. It fully charges my system at an idle and keeps the battery up, so I don't have to keep adding water to the battery. There's a local company who made it for me for a little over $100.00.Send me an e-mail with your land-line number and I'll call you with more information.Ken Sobelhypnotist01@sbcglobal.net
