ShopGuy
On a Buick that looks between 1936-39, can someone tell me where to look for the VIN? And is there some production data to compare it to for indentification?
Guest Oracle
The previous thread mentions this site to locate the serial number:http://members.aol.com/buickohv/ars.htmThere should be a Fisher Body plate as well which gives the model number for the body style and the Model Year. Canadian McLaughlin-Buicks have all this data on one plate underneath the hood, usually on the firewall. Other than that, what's the front end design? Also if the original engine is there, what's its number?
