1979 Cutlass Calais

I ran across a 1979 Cutlass Calais with a 260 cu inch V8 engine with a 5 speed manual transmission. The car has 99K? miles and has bucket seats and PS, PB, Factory air and Hurst wheels. The body is very good with thin paint. Chrome is fair but not pitted and the interior shows some wear but not bad. My Question is what is this car worth and secondly what is the HP of this engine and what make of tranny would this be? Is this a rare beast? Thanks for any help you can give me. djackson [color:"red"]

78-88 A/G body cars with a manual trans like this 79 Olds are pretty rare. That's not to say they will bring big bucks however. The trans is a T5, primarily used behind V6s and very low horsepower V8s. Factory rating on the 260 is around 110 HP or so, if I recall. Not exactly Oldsmobile's finest hour.
