alsancle
For SaleEngine stamped *256709A* on left front support. This engine was put in my Stutz sometime in the 1940s. In 1951 the car was placed in a barn because of engine trouble. The engine and car sat in the barn until 2005. It looks like someone tried to drop the pan at one time. *Definite* corrosion visible in the ports. Does not include intake, exhaust, carb, or distributor. No visible external cracks in the block. Pan looks good. Motor mounts have been hacked a bit to fit in Stutz but certainly repairable. Something screwy coming out of the head. I would think good for parts and the block may be good but no promises. Tranny is probably good for rebuild. Located in Shrewsbury Massachusetts.Make me an offer where you come and get it. Have a hoist so we can put it into a trailer. If I can't find anyone local then will entertain the idea of strapping it to a pallet and shipping. alsancle
The first picture gives you a good idea how they snipped the motor mounts, look in the left lower portion of the photo.
