25parts+ Posted June 9, 2006 Share Posted June 9, 2006 hi all! i'm removing some carbon build-up and going to lap the valves on my 25 touring.while i have the valve springs out, i was going to check the tension on the springs. my question is? are there correct tensions on the springs, or are there specific hieghts that i should go by. thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
dwollam Posted June 9, 2006 Share Posted June 9, 2006 I replaced mine when I rebuilt the engine. I think they are supposed to be 3 3/4" and I had some as much as 1/2" short!
