cpederslie
I picked this body up from a friend who hauled it out of a ravine in Montana. He said it was a 29 Durant, but there was no body style like this for Durant. Cadillac had a similar body style, belt line but the cowl tag doesn't appear to be what Cadillac used. one person mentioned Studeabaker, but the window reveals and beltline don't totally match to this one. Any ideas?
West Peterson
1928 Studebaker Commander Regal victoria is a possibility. Certain models of 1927 and 1928 Stearns-Knights also used that staggered-type belt molding that was opposite on the ends. However, there doesn't appear to be a thin rocker panel under the doors on this body, as a Stearns would have.
Mark Huston
This is a 1928 Studebaker Commander Victoria. There is another thread that appeared here previously regarding a 1928 GH Studebaker:http://forums.aaca.org/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=362333&Main=362304
