My question is has anyone had a problem with shipping their car across country or is it better to pick it up and drive it home? Any suggestions? skydad Posted April 19, 2006 Share Posted April 19, 2006 Mine was shipped from the Miami, FL area to 50 miles north of New Orleans. It cost $500 door to door even though it was almost three weeks from the time I bought the car until I received it because they were waiting for a full load.
