Recognize These Tailights?

Thanks Dave, that makes sense because I found a Cormorant hood ornament for this year Packard with the tailights, on the hood ornament the yellow wings were broken off any idea were to get new ones? Anyways here are the dimensions of the tailights 9" tall x 3 7/8 wide x 1 11/16 deep

Part numbers: CB 17199 1340269 LH MOLD 1-1 DG (the LH means left-hand I assume)

CB 17200 1340268 RH MOLD 1-1 DG

These look similar to '50 - '52 De Soto ?

If these were MoPar, they should have the "DPCD" monogram somewhere on the backside of the casting...

They do look like '51 DeSoto units. I thought that since the DeSoto units mount to a sloped area they'd be thicker toward the top (pointed) end, and that the mounting holes would be larger in proportion. I spent some time blowing up this image and I think we have a winner! smile.gif
