kenscaddie Posted March 10, 2006 Share Posted March 10, 2006 Does anyone in Buick land have a photo or schematic diagram of the rear quarter window winding mechanism. I am restoring a 1928 Cadillac 7 Seater Fisher Body sedan, and have been advise that the Buick equivalent is almost identical.I do have a pair of original Cadillac mechanisms but they have parts missing. The Cadillac mechanisms raise and lowers the window by a chain attached to the window sash, which runs over & under large and small sized cogs.I am hoping that if I can find a photo or diagram of a Buick mechanism, that I would be able to replicate those items that are missing.
