Mark Huston
I purchased a vintage car with the large 4 inch white wall tires. The wide white walls have never been cleaned. What is the best product out there to clean them up and keep the white walls looking good? I have never had this style tire before and don't know what to do with them, short of buying a set of black wall tires. They look real bad.
Any ideas? Guest
Wash your tires with detergent and water then use Westleys Bleach White. Real stuborn stains can be remove with Napha on a small soft cloth. DO NOT RUB HARD with the Napha. Napha is availble at most Hardware Stores. Good Luck. Bob Norman
Ccar
I would also try using Bon-Ami Cleanser and soft brush. Have also used SOS kitchen pots and pans cleaner, steel wool and soap.
The Whestleys does cut a lot of dirt on first application.
ThomasBorchers
Mark~~
Westleys works great. But the best product does not help if the black rubber came through the white rubber. Then you can scrub as long as you want with no success.
Try Westleys.
Tom
Mark Huston
Thank you all for your assistance, I will give your suggestions a try. There is no black showing through, just yellowed/stained white walls.
