I am looking for information on a 1928 BMW Dixi Roadster. Suppose to be very rare. I am in contact with a person willing to sell and having a hard time finding a value. Any help would be greatly appreciated. my e-mail is bareesman@hotmail.com

I may have found a web site that can provide you with some information. If you can read German you are in luck as the web site is written completely in German. I do not understand German well enough to read the site but from what I saw there, it appears to pertain to the type of car you are looking for. However I cannot be sure. The site has many sections including history and contact information about Dixi cars and shows a picture of a 20s era roadster on the main page. There are also references to BMW.
The URL of the website is: http://www.dixikasi.de
I thought it was worth a try.
Hope this helps.
BruceW
the DIXI was the german version of the Austin 7. In Japan it was the Datsun, in the USA it was the Austin. The cars were to pay royalities to the Austin company of England. The American Austin never did. I don't know if the Germans did.
