lancer770
I am the manager of an MSN Forum on Early A-Body cars 1960-1966. I would like to find Early Lancers and Darts and parts cars for the members including myself. I own a 61 Lancer coupe.
nearchoclatetown
Nick, I saw your post on the general section and I'm not trying to chase you away. But you may not find much interest here as the year cutoff is 1938, the last year Brothers was used with the name Dodge.
lancer770
Thanks choc-town, I realize that but I've known Dodge boys all my life and I know they can be helpful folks. Also I live in a town where the local Dodge Dealership has been in the hands of the same family since 1915. The original dealer's son now runs the place. Original dealer signed his franchise agreement with the Brothers Dodge themselves. He even keeps a '15 Model in his showroom. Might be a good place for the Dodge Brother Boys to get together. nearchoclatetown
I think there are about 8 or 9 of the original DB dealerships still in business. I also think Stetler Dodge of York, Pa. is one. Where is yours located? BTW, welcome to the forum, hope you get the info your are looking for.
lancer770
The dealership is John P. Hughes Motor Co. now located across the James River from Lynchburg, VA in Madison Heights. If I am not mistaken their Va. Dealer License # is 0003. The current owner is the son of the founder, his name is Holcomb Hughes.
Guest AlK
Lancer770:I have a 1964 Dodge Dart 270 Conv. for sale. I have one picture in my web page that shows the car when it was complete. Since then I have had it repainted and have not yet reassembled it. web page is as follows:http://community.webtv.net/lordladymopak/THEKAHLSEMAIL lordladymopak@webtv.net. Guest AlK
you know I noticed that a while back and wondered. I saw very little in the way of later Dodge postings and thought it may have to do with the "Brothers" connotation. So that brings up the pregnant question, if not here, where???certainly not the WPC forums. Desoto and Plymouth have theirs, so I will pose the question again, how about a non-Dodge Brothers forum for later models.
