blmay
My selector for panel, defrost, etc. does not respond. Do I have a vacuum problem or something else. Would appreciate any help.
TwinCamFan
Get a flashlight and squirm your head up under the steering wheel, above and to the right of the gas pedal. See that silver dollar sized metal vaccuum actuacted canister? You may need to move that carpet piece there. Is the vacuum line still on the port? Usual culprit.Alan
burnfaster
If it's not what he said , the next thing I'd check is the check valve in the vacc line that supplies the HVAC control , and the integrity of the line itself .
blmay
Thanks for the help. I had a split in the vacuum line right out of the tripel tee on the intake plemum. Cut off some of the line and stuck it back on. Works fine now.
