Songman
Hi all,The window regulator in my driver's door is stripped. The window will only go down about 4 inches and then it just clicks. Same when I roll it up. At the top it continues to click.I figured it was easy enough to go to the parts store and buy the plastic/nylon regulator and replace it, but parts stores don't seem to carry them. Any ideas where to find these? Thanks,Dale
Jim
It is very common for the window motors and/or the regulators to go bad on Reattas. The motor is riveted to the regulator. On the end of the motor is a small gear and a large arcing gear on the regulator. Either of these gears can strip. I do have good window motor/regulators available and I can be reached at jfinn@cpinternet.comDale, I will send you an email.
Songman
Thanks Jim, maybe we can just add that in with the rest of the stuff that I am buying from you. Just e-mail me with a price. Is the motor riveted to the door frame? How difficult is it to reach to change?
