IndianaCarGuy
Does someone make an interior for these? I located one with NO wood, and I am considering buying it, if I can get some plans for the body wood, etc,...but I am NOT good at upholstery.
RS

Guest
Indiana - no one makes interiors for these early DBs. At one time there were repro door panels available for the early 20s models, but those are long gone. Best way is to have an upholsterer make a new interior from patterns. A little expensive, but not as bad as you might think - there ain't much there just two big seats that sit in metal frames.
The reason there is no wood is because there was precious little in the car to begin with.
Only tacking strips in the doors, floor board panels, running boards and the wood in the top iron arrangement. Guest
So, did you buy it?
Not all the seats are the same regardless if it is the same year, make and model...at least that's what I have found with my 27 Woody.
IndianaCarGuy
negotiating,... this car has serious problems with being all there, and the owner is a car dealer. He neither knows much about the car, or what is needed to repair it. I made an offer and will let it stand for a while.
rs
