tc11003 Posted April 26, 2005 Share Posted April 26, 2005 i have a problem many have faced , with my 89. the touchscreen comes and goes. is there a chance i could fix this by disconnecting , cleaning connection and reconnecting? thanks guys. she runs great otherwise. Pull it out and clean both the wiring harness and the connectors.If that doesn't work, and you're up to it, the power connector on the CRT has been touched with a soldering iron, fixing a lose solder joint. A reason to love the car is that the 3800 and transaxle are daring enough to say in 1st past 40 mph, and you can make it hit 2nd at 70 mph Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You can let the torque converter unlock, and then make it shift into 3rd, or go all the way and hit 2nd and fly!I guess you could accelerate by going from overdrive to first if the conditions were right.
