Dominick Posted March 3, 2005 Share Posted March 3, 2005 I know that these transmissions are indestrutible, but, there is nothing like putting your immaculate car in the hands of an engine builder, who knows ONLY ENGINES to get the trans screwed up. At 63K miles my 49 straight 8 was completely rebuilt since then (150) miles ago I have experienced vibraton and a front seal leak. The trans still shifts fine, but I don't need the vibration and the leak. Does anyone know a good mechanic here in the Northeast who can fix this problem correctly and not kill my pockectbook like the engine guy did?
