Last Minute CHEAP Motel Rooms near Kokomo in Peru, IN--is it OK?

I left getting my hotel reservations for the last minute this year, and had to scramble to find a room. I found a vacancy in the Knights Inn in Peru, IN. The motel is 15 miles due north of Kokomo. <P>I don't know anything about Peru, or this particular Knights Inn. They're usually tolerable, but the Hyatt they ain't. And for well south of $50 I'm out of the rain!<P>Does anyone know anything about the Peru area? Will it be OK to leave my car ('60 LeSabre--driver condition, far from mint) in the lot there (overnight)?<p>[ 07-10-2002: Message edited by: Dave@Moon ]
