Busfreak
Hello,I recently purchased what proves to be a 1910 Maxwell two seater in Sheridan, WY. It was originally thought to be a 1911, but the original bill of sale just turned up in the tool box.I am unsure of the model. While all indications are that it is in running condition (and reportedly always has been), I could surely use information on maintenance, parts, operation, etc. My expertice is in the somewhat later Whites, particularly those used in the National Parks for touring, so much of this vehicle is familiar, but I'd hate to blunder. If you can give me a hand or have a contact, please drop me a message at baustin1@earthlink.net, if not through this registry.ThanksBruce Austin
twrcars
The model/serial number plate should be on the heel board behind driver/passengers' feet. It should also have a Selden Number plate there.. What is the date on the sale bill? 1911's could have been offered as early as October 1910.
