Reatta4Real
Another fist with the Reatta. Sat out in the rain all day, nothing new, later find trunk is soaked. However I can't find anything major wrong with the stripping around the trunk. Is there anyway for water to get in the trunk from underneath the car? Howard
Another thing to check, it is remote but possible. Have you changed any of the taillight bulbs? I could see how water could leak in where the wingnuts are that hold the unit in place. Just unscrew the carpet on that panel and see if there is any appearance of a water leak. Like I said the chance is remote, but possible.

George Madsen
I had a similar problem this fall, leaf debris around the trunk hinges was the problem. It built up enough to form a dam and rainwater simply overrode the trunk weatherstrip. Cleaned it up and now it's all good.
