Guest Shaffer
Does anyone know the first year that digital dash panels came out? I think that Toyota had them as a option in the very early 80s on the flagship Toyota Cressida, as well as Nissan on the early to mid 80s Maxima. Maybe Corvette in the mid 80s, as well as Cadillac SeVille/Eldorado and I know that was a option on the 1986 Ford Aerostar XLT vans. I think Chrysler had them as early as 1987. I think my uncle had a early 80s Cadillac SeVille years ago, with a digital dash panel. I am not talking about the "LCD" display, but rather the green type guages. My guess is early 80s Toyota, Nissan, Cadillac or the Chevrolet Corvette was the first to have them. Does anyone elso have any other info?<p>[ 04-21-2002: Message edited by: Shaffer ]
Dave@Moon
The earliest all-digital dash I know of is the 1976-on Aston-Martin Lagonda, but there may be others.
