Ricko1937 Posted October 13, 2004 Share Posted October 13, 2004 I believe I have a bad harmonic balencer pully on the front of my 6cyl. engine 241.5 CI. I was wondering if anyone has ever removed one while engine is in vehicle. It looks like either the engine must be pulled out or the whole front end including bumper, grille, radiator, and front fenders must be removed. Either way it seems like a big project. A puller must be used to remove the balancer and there just isn't any room to do that. Any help or experience would be greatly appreciated.
