gwassenaar
I drive a packard 48 . When I had bias ply tires , trouble started in the cold.In summer time they became quite smooth. My contention : because of the synthetic fibres used for the carcass these tires have memory action. They develope flat spots when at rest.At the end my flat spots did not go away any more. Presumebly because I did not put enough heat in them.So , I swapped them.
