mmiskinis
well, here i go, making a fool of myself.not sure if this is the place to post this.i need to know how the windows are wired on a 1956 deville 4 door. (i think)the widows are totally dead. can't tell from the manual where anything is.where is the circuit breaker? where are the power feeds connected together?the seat is dead too and can't tell if the wiring to the rest of the window circuit is intact. i tried to feed power back through the hot lead on the power seat switch but no luck.help.mark
jaxops
Let me know when you find out! I have found that there is no main board like on the newer cars. If there is I haven't found it yet. I have a 56 Series 75. My front windows work but not the rear windows. The radio, seat, and air conditioning motor are all dead- but the wipers, horn, turnsignals, and headlights work! I have noticed that a lot of wiring needs to be replaced. Also, there are a lot of in-line fuses that could be blown. I am getting it back from the engine overhaul Friday, so I haven't delved into these too far yet. Stay in touch and we can commiserate!
