packard 116
Hello, Does anyone know anything about "WestingHouse Air Shocks"? Has anyone ever worked on them? Are they complicated? I have a set on my car and wander if they were very popular and if they were a good accessory? Any and all information would be appreciated. The car is a 1921 model, I didn't even know they had air shocks back then. Thanks
Guest DeSoto Frank
Are these big cast-iron cylinders with domed tops, situated vertically above the front spring horns?
packard 116
Yes Sir. They have caps on the top that you screw off to expose the tire valve for airing up the shocks (air springs)Do you know anything about them?Robert
Guest DeSoto Frank
Well, I will delve into my 1918 edition "Dyke's Automotive Encyclopedia" and see what I find...
