Many years ago when I started in this hobby I bought a '29U Plymouth and contacted Chrysler in Windsor to see when it was built and where in Canada it was shipped etc. etc. They told me that Chrysler Canada had thrown out all their build sheets around 1950!!! And that ,for us Canadians, was the end of that. The best that can be done is to extrapolate with some of the info in the parts books. But unfortunately we will never know what our Chrycos had for options or their original paint jobs unlike our neighbours to the south. I have a '35 Dodge KCL sedan delivery that was built in Detroit and imported into Canada and sold in Toronto. I sent for,and received, the US build ticket this year and it sure is a shame we do not have access to this info on our home grown vehicles!
