rocketraider
This may sound cold, but I don't see much difference in 350/455 in the 1975 car. The catalyst and emissions controls had cut the balls off the car anyway. My advice on 1974-75 H/O is to get the best body you can find, regardless of engine or options. The rust issues don't leave much choice. It took me literally years to find a 74 that wasn't rusted apart or restored wrong. I ended up with a 350 car with almost no options, but little rust and almost totally original and unmolested. It also came with Indy history and all documentation from new, so I knew it was the one. Probably about what I'd have gotten in 1974 had this tobacco farmer's kid been able to afford one.
