imported_v12lincoln Posted June 15, 2004 Share Posted June 15, 2004 I bought a set of felpro gaskets for my 48 Lincoln today and they alone should help with the cooling of the engine. all the water jacket holes at the top of the head are at least twice the size of the macord or victor gaskets. I measured the macord holes at 3/8 and the felpro at 3/4. will let you know if it makes an improvement. the part#is 7250 B. They dont sell just the head gaskets around here so I had to buy the complete set at 170 bucks. if anyone can get just the head gaskets please let me know, never hurts to have a spare set.
