man, i felt stupid.

so im driving to my friends house yesterday and i realize that i am real low on gas, like i have about 20 more miles t6o go before no more going. i think, ok, no problem. so i pull into the driveway and he gets in and we go to go to the gas station to get gas and then were gonna go pick up a check from his work. so we get about to the intersection from his neighborhood and a main road and i go to hit the gas to pull on to the road. instead of going from like 1krpm to 3k uit was like 1 to 1300 and the car starts shuddering and sputters and dies.

this is taking way too much effort, forget it, short story,replaced spark plugs because a car friend at autoparts store said it sounded like sparkplugs or a seal problem if the car had gas. i was out of gas because my tank still said i had some. is it hard/expensive to get the fuel level gauge corrected or fixed

Keep at least a quarter tank will also keep that expensive and hard to change fuel pump cool.
