adoldfield Posted November 24, 2001 Share Posted November 24, 2001 Buick Blackhawk Showcar to Appear in Cedar Rapids, IA<P> The Buick Blackhawk, a one-of-a-kind custom showcar for Buick Motor Division, will appear at Allen Motor Company, I-380 and Boyson Road,Cedar Rapids, IA., on Tuesday, November 27th, from approximately 9am to 2pm.<BR> The Blackhawk celebrates the heritage and future of Buick Motor Division by combining elements of Buicks from the 1930s, 1940s, 1970s, and today into one sleek and powerful vehicle. Blackhawk will arrive in its own custom-painted tractor trailer, emblazoned with the Blackhawk silhouette on the side of the trailer. The Old Guy Posted November 24, 2001 Share Posted November 24, 2001 Congratulations to the Hawkeye Chapter for your work in getting the Blackhawk! It is a car that Buick should build ,but unfortunately won't. Harold( who is a member of the Buicktown Chapter) probably knows as much about the Blackhawk as the men who built it, and will show it well. He might even give you a ride if he has time.
