gford
Help me out guys. I looked at a 455 today that someone had put in a 70 Skylark. It had chrome valve covers on it and the one on the drivers side had the # 1232069 on it. I've looked through all my literature and can't come up with a year or what engine it belongs to. Can anyone help on this?
Thanks
Garry
Guest
The only chrome valve covers I have seen on 455s are ones that the owner had chromed.
palbuick
Your valve covers are Std 455 covers, someone had plated, Stage 1 chrome covers are part No 1233422 & 1233423, Part No 1232068 & 1233069 are std 455 1970-1972.
Jim Schilf / palbuick@aol.com
gford
Jim
Thanks for the information. Did you mean 1233069 or should that have been 1232069 for the standard 455 valve covers?
Garry
