6219_Rules
It is a 1966 Buick 4 door, full size with no badging other than Buick, in a light champaigne color. It looks like a LeSabre but there is no badge or script to indicate if it is or not. There are no missing scripts that I can see. I walk past it occasionally. Any ideas? Centurion
Randall, any full-size 1966 Buick should have carried name badges on the rear quarter. My suspicion is that the car had undergone some body or paint repair at some point in its past, and whoever did the work simply failed to replace the nameplates. There seem to be few '66 LeSabre photos on the Internet, and I couldn't locate any showing the nameplates. But here is a photo of an unrestored '66 LeSabre 2-door hardtop for your reference.
6219_Rules
BINGO! And I even got the year right! That is exactly what the car looks like except four doors.I will have to look at it again...but from the shape (identical to the photo) I doubt ANY body work has ever been done. <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
