Guest Posted October 17, 2003 Share Posted October 17, 2003 what cars will the hood,doors and fenders interchange with on a 1967 delta 88 custom? i.e 1968 ninety-eight convertible, and is there anyway to bypass the junction box that hooks the accelerator linkage and the carb at the firewall. Henry, do you know more about this, since it's in your years?You talking about the round switch, four wires, in the throttle linkage? That serves two purposes- 1)it's the transmission kickdown switch, and 2) it operates the switch-pitch torque converter. If you eliminate it or jumper it, the transmission won't perform properly.
