Roadster90
I have my radio out for repair and the black plastic speedo / instrument surround is somewhat discolored (not dirty). Should I try some wax or light polish to try to get the coloration back to a uniform appearence? I have a plastic polish kit that I bought from one of the sponsors of Autopia (tailight plastic polish and uv stuff, buffing wheel, etc).thanks..... FlyByNite
A nice option is to get the wood grain dash panels out of a Riviera, sure spiffs up the interior.
Roadster90
David,,,I like your hobby and bio.....I am sure the wood looks marvelous but I want to keep it stock for now...maybe later......I did go ahead and try the kit put out by Classic Motoring Acccessories (from autopia). It had a Brit polish called "Renovo" and another cleaner/polish in a spray can called "Plexus". This is the stuff they suggest for the taillight lens. WORKS EXCELLENT ! Dash plastic has lost its tiny scratches and blemishes and is shinny and looks like new.
FlyByNite
I get to indulge in my hobby next month and fortunately the bio hasn't changed. You have a Select 60, I'm surprised they didn't come with the woodgrain. It's always good to get a review on a product that actually works.
