Jdee
Hi, My 39 46s is driving me crazy LOL
My brake lights work fine, but when My headlights are on they work backwards?
They dim the tail lights instead of making them light up?
Anyone ever have this problem?
Thanks for any info Jdee
The Old Guy
As a usual rule ,when your lights dim with an added load ,you have a ground problem. I would take the lens off and using a jumper to a good ground, see what happens. I would almost bet it will cure your problem.

Guest
Well I have found that someone has tapped into the tail lights for power for the brake lights "I think ". Both are using the same filament in a two filament bulb?
And I don't have signals in the taillights
So I would think that the Tail lights should use one filament and the Brake lights the other? DOes that sound about right?
Jdee
The Old Guy
The 39 has the turn signal on the trunk ,so if some one has spliced the two wires into the one filament ,you have some wiring to do.
Good Luck
