ive had it up on blocks for what seems like a eternity. had the 41 code, so i tore into it to replace the cam sensor, while i was at it i changed the water pump and all the hoses(water). i fecked up the oil pan gasket putting it back together, so that was replaced today..changed the chocolate milk that was used for cooling water for some green water..felt good to have it back on the road..

next tuesday she goes in for a new exhaust flow through cat, muffler(camaro) and tips...i was the dumb ass that won the intake manifold on e-bay, im gona polish the crap out of it when the snow flys..and do some chroming under the hood..sure like my car.... <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> i'd give my virginity to lower it 2"..

its got a little more sky around the tires than i want..

its not a big deal, just think the cars stance would be even better..

While not a great fan of lowered cars, I understand what you are after. You might investigate Riviera front and rear springs. The manual indicates the ride height of the Riv' is lower than the Reatta. I am not sure how they may differ, but there is a substantial difference between the specs. in the front and rear suspension section of the manual. The front would probably be relatively easy to heat one coil and collapse the spring a little. The rear may only be a matter of the difference in front to rear weight bias between the two cars and the spring may be exactly the same. There has been quite a bit of discussion of this subject, check the archives.

i took a torch to the front springs on my brand new corvette once..wont make that mistake again..i did a search on the subject, didnt really have a way to do it..
