Guest
I am replacing the springs on my 65 Skylark however I was unable to locate the rubber isolater piece that goes on top of the spring. Do I need this? Also is there anything I could put there instead to improvise? Thanks.-Ari
palbuick
Those rubber insulators have a purpose, they keep the springs from scraping and making noise. I believe that CARS , inc has replacement ones. Try their on line catalog. Carsinc.comJim Schlf / palbuick@aol.com
Turbo Loyd
[color:"blue"]I would imagine rubber isolators have not changed much over the years so should be avaiable. Might even try the isolators for G bodies that use coil springs in the back as well.Just a thought . .. . .
