Guest
I need to replace the speakers in my 89 Reatta, but I don't want to cut off the wiring or anything. Does anyone know where I could get a pair of factory speakers to just put in and not have to worry about it? Thanks.
FlyByNite
Try Jim Finn, he has several parts cars.
harry yarnell
Radio Shack has some 5 1/4" car speakers that are perfect replacements. And cheap. There # 40-1423. I've been chastized for being 'cheap' for using these speakers, but I can't tell the difference from stock (when they were working). And I love good music. We're talking door speakers, right? Guest DTerry
I put in the Radio Shack speakers, front and rear, and am perfectly content with them. You can remove the plugs from your old speakers and solder them into the RS speakers, then plug them in the same way. Cheap, and I really like the sound. Although the big ones were totally shot, the tweeters were still good, and the combo works well (for me, anyway). About $25 for all 4 at a going out of business sale. Be sure you keep the polarity (phase) the same.
