Mr. Don
I guess right now I have more interest in working with the Bugatti. The Ford Model A won’t be abandoned, just back burner status.

Mr. Don
Prior to my recent work with the radiator shell, I had found a source of aluminum hexagonal filler material, and that with a little effort was pretty close to perfect for a 1/4th scale Bugatti.
Mr. Don
I have also made several front axles! The first was a bit of aluminum, back during the “Shut down”, that I band sawed, ground with a pneumatic angle grinder, lots of time filing, and and hours sanding and polishing. -which looked pretty good, -I unfortunately left it in a Las Vegas motel! Since then I made the above axle out of stainless steel. It has dovetailed slots for the tabs that connect to the dampners.
Mr. Don
And I had started on the leaf springs. Heating the ends to forge into the proper shape. (These are currently made of spring steel, but I might reconsider that in the future.
Mr. Don
Above a 1/4th scale Type 35 radiator. An early form, tall and slimmer than later B and C variants. I still have to make all of the back side with it’s framing, and tubing. Flange support for the bonnet, and drain plugs on the bottom. I will be making a badge, and the manufacturer’s badging in brass on the radiator itself.
