63' riv' color code??

Hi all,

I'm about to paint my 63'Riv' and was wondering if anyone could tell me the code for the correct paint . I've attached a picture of a car the same color .

Check on the data tag on the firewall. Should be a two letter code like VV.

The picture you posted looks like a 65 Riviera and the paint codes are diferent than '63. The color appears to be a Bronze color and if your code letter on the data plate of the '63 is an "S" then it is Bronze Mist Poly and the PPG formulae # is 22269. The '65 Rivi did not offer that color. What is the Buick color code letter on your data plate? <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

It says "SS" beside the *PAINT section and "FB"beside the BODY section .

And yes my car is a 63' not a 65' like the one pictured .

1963 SS code is Bronze Mist.
