DAVID KERR
Greetings, I am an automotive researcher and archivist. Recently I came across some photos of a 1908, 2 cylinder REO and I am trying to reunite these photos with the car and am hoping someone on this forum could help or perhaps owns the car. Unfortunately I do not have the serial number. What I do know is that the car spent most of its life in Iowa. It was owned for many years by man named A.E. Strawn and later by a man named Merrill DeKlotz. The car was sold at an auction in Newhall, Iowa in, I believe 1988. If you believe this to be your REO I’d love to get you copies of the photos and pass along the bit of history I have of the car and its owners. You can contact me at david@witsendgarage.com. Thanks! Roger Garnett
David - I run the EarlyREO email group, and am rebuilding the REO 1 & 2 cylinder registry. If you can send me photos I can help trying finding a match. Let me know if you can't direct message me. Roger
