Josh1911
I know it’s been discussed before but currently can not find the thread. Who does the relining or sells the material for leather cone clutches? I know Kevlar has also been being used with success. I’m open to either option. In south central pa. thanks in advance!

Jeff Deringer
Private Message for the answer? Unless it's a military secret maybe post it so other interested people can make a note of it. I know Bob Knaak used to do it, but not sure anymore. It would be good info to have.
Larry Schramm
Talk to Bob Knaak in Calif. He is the best for relining cone clutches. I and many others would recommend doing your clutch in leather. That is how I have had mine done, three of them. Kevlar depending on the the composition can have its own issues like being grabby, etc... Leather is what it was designed for and my clutches lasted 100 years, why change. 6
Charlie Allen
Bob Knaak relined the clutch in my '08 Mitchell with leather. He used copper rivets to attach the leather to the cone. Excellent work. Thanks, Charlie Allen
