Built between 1963 and 1971 the Rover TC2000 or P6. was the class of the field in Europe.

"Before BMW had the European sports sedan genre covered, there was the Rover 2000TC. Based on a lively, rear-wheel drive platform, it combined impeccable handling with a dash of classic British luxury. Taking a strategic cue from BMW’s 1600/2002 range, Rover used their 2000/2000TC line to inject a little life into a familiar and rather staid line up. Although the Rover 2000TC, unlike the BMW 2002, is relatively unknown to North American enthusiasts, it might well be even more worthy of our attention." - Curbside Classics

This particular Rover TC2000 has been in under the same ownership here in Spokane since 1970 and was actually driven to high school by its current owner ! The car is finished in Burgundy over black and has been driven but 73,000 miles since new! The car is in remarkably nice condition and is absolutely dry AND rust free ! The cars interior is in great condition, no dash cracks, headliner is taught and even the clock works ! Seat padding is still excellent and supportive and the seats show little if any wear.I remember seeing only a few of these during my over 50 years of car addiction but, until this car came along, I had never driven one. What a great driving little car! The car feels vault like solid and is truly a pleasure to drive on your favorite country road or on the freeway. The 2.0 liter inline 4 cylinder overhead cam lump is enough to propel the car quite comfortably up to speed. The cars 4 speed manual gearbox is butter smooth. The car is a little cold blooded which I will attribute mostly to our poor fuel quality here. Once warm, the car runs great ! The cars brakes are excellent with good modulation and pedal feel. The car tracks straight and there is no excessive steering play.... a very nice and comfortable driver.

Very few of these wonderful Rovers were imported to the US however, many were produced and most parts are readily available. This is a great little car that can be enjoyed and proudly shown as is. Shown by appointment.
