theconvertibleguy
Or as close as I could find. Moved this over from the thread in Not mine for sale to try to verify what I'm seeing. In a nutshell, was wondering if anyone could verify that I've decoded this right. For reference, it's a Canadian built Ford (or so I was told) so the usual sites that decode these are all wrong, but this is what I found so far. If I'm translating it right, this is what I got for the meaning IBB - It's a point code according to this site (http://www.mercurystuff.com/1960-61-canadian-vehicle-identification.html), might be black? Which is annoying as it's rangoon red (which is IRR) 647 - Trim Red for a Galaxie 500XL JB - Galaxie Sedan packing a 390 CID with an auto tranny 476B - Galaxie 500XL Convertible 63L - Oakville plant in 1963 Anyone more knowledgeable then I have any thoughts?
