crazycars Posted October 25, 2023 Share Posted October 25, 2023 Recently acquired a 53 Plymouth with Hi Drive transmission. From what I've read, it seems that the engine and trans share the same oil (sort of like a Model T) and that an oil change involves 11 quarts. Is this actually true? If so, does this involve draining the torque converter, assuming it has one? Also, what is the recommended weight oil? All responses greatly appreciated. Thanks!
