Eyeful
I've acquired two of these badges in purchases for a 1910 Q3 but I don't believe they belong to the Q3. Each badge is in good condition (one having a crack near the word 'motor'). The badges are 17.7" x 1.65" x 3/16" (45cm x 42mm x 4mm). On the rear of the badge is "H 372". What year and model do the badges belong? What would the pair of badges be worth? Any advice/help would be appreciated. Peter
wayne sheldon
Looks like a door sill plate. I know a lot of early Maxwell models had such things. I have seen a lot of nice reproductions of the originals at swap meets over the years, and suspect this might be a repro. Different models used different sizes of sill plates. Early Maxwell forums might help identify which model they would fit. https://forums.aaca.org/forum/25-maxwell/
